It's Not Too Late

Easter is just 10 days 16 hours and 16 minutes away! So who have you invited to come to church with you on Easter Sunday? You knew I was going to ask. So I have some great news. We have raised just over $8,0000.00 for the roof in just 4 weeks. I think that is just amazing!! So with our matching funds that puts us at $16,000 plus a little more that we had already in the bank. So we are getting closer to our $21,0000.00. Thank you so much for being so generous! This week is a special week as we continue our series Jesus Is _________. at the 9:30am worship service and our choir leads us in our Easter Cantata at the 10:45am service. So if you don't want to miss the Message - JESUS IS HAPPY - you have two options - you can listen to it online later on in the week or you can go to both the 9:30am and 10:45am worship service. The choice is yours. Either way it's going to be a phenomenal Sunday at LVC. Between now and Easter we have a ton of activities happening. I want to do my best to keep you in the loop so here's the rundown:

It's time for our annual work day on Saturday, April 8th from 8am to 12noon. Everyone is welcome as we will have something for everyone. We need painters, rakers, sweepers, dusters, and all around handy people! If you have a trailer we are also in need of some folks to haul off trash (make sure you bring your property tax receipt for the dump). 2. Easter Cantata: Join us at the 10:45am service on Sunday, April 12th as our choir puts on our Easter Cantata, Come to the Cross and Remember by Pepper Choplin. Come support our Music Ministry as they prepare us for Holy Week!! 3. Maundy Thursday Service: We will be joining New Hope UMC for Maundy Thursday. The service begins at 7:30pm. I hope to see you there. 4. Good Friday Service: This year we will joining St. Andrews UMC for Good Friday. The service begins at 7pm in the sanctuary at St. Andrews UMC (3315 S. Bryan Road, Brandon, 33511). I hope to see you there. I don't know about you, but I am getting excited about Easter Sunday. I hope you are too.
