God Showing Off

God just keeps showing off His glory around here! It is so exciting to see what is happening here a LVC. Just last night we had a wonderful Ash Wednesday Worship Service with New Hope UMC. We had a full sanctuary and spent some time in reflection as we prepare for Lent! Tuesday some of the men in our church pressure washed a house for one of our church family members. Thank you Bill Stocker, Victor Lopez and Jerry Benningfield. Last Saturday another couple of our guys went and pressure washed another on of our church family member's home. Thank you Les Rawson and Van Paulus. This past week Leo & Karen Stutzman planted new shrubbery around the Fellowship Hall. Thank you guys too! If that wasn't enough check this out! Just today an anonymous donor came to me and has offered to match whatever donations we receive between now and April 1st for our Fellowship Hall Roof!! That means that if we can get $10,000 donated between now and April 1st we will have our roof paid for!! What a blessing!! God sure does like to show off!! This Saturday is the Youth Yard Sale from 8am to 1pm. We still need items donated. You can drop those items off today till 2pm in the Fellowship Hall and tomorrow all day. We NEED ITEMS!!! Also, we could use a few extra hands on Saturday to help out at the yard sale. IF you have some spare time and could help Les out with the BBQ or the youth out with the yard sale that would be awesome!! Also, feel free to stop by and buy some treasures and get some BBQ on Saturday. BBQ plates will be $8 and will include sandwich, beans and coleslaw. Finally, Sunday is coming. We will continue our sermon series called TELL SOMEONE. This week we will talk about what exactly is this good news that we are supposed to be sharing. We will look at Romans 1:16; 3:23; and 6:23 and Revelation 20:11-15 and 21:1-5. Look forward to worshiping with you!
