JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN AND SO DO WE!
During each Sunday worship service, we invite the children to join us in the youth room for Children's Church. Through hands-on activities, crafts, games, and videos the bible is brought to life. Kids learn biblical truths and how God's Word applies to our daily lives.
When you come by on your first visit, look for our Welcome table. Here, a volunteer will happily show you and your family how Children's Church works. We'll gather the necessary information to check your child in and help with any questions you may have. All volunteers are screened, background checked and trained by our staff.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY
At Limona Village Chapel UMC, we believe that children are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. We go above and beyond to provide our youth an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their faith and identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders of tomorrow.
Our goals are to shape the way they live their lives and teach them the fundamentals of social responsibility, healthy living and cultural acceptance.
LVC CHILDREN'S CENTER
LVC CHILDREN'S CENTER
The Children's Center believes preschool children learn by doing. Therefore, ours is an active “hands-on” program providing experiences for children to use all their senses as they develop physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and socially. We believe that the development of a positive self-image is very important in the early years.
The Children’s Center provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool age children in a Christian environment. Activities are planned to enhance a healthy stimulating and challenging environment where children can learn through constructive play and social interaction.
The Children’s Center’s curriculum includes language development reading, writing and math readiness, social studies, science, music, art, and physical education integrated through units of study. Activities in our classes are interrelated and skills are not taught in isolation but in a meaningful context using methods and materials appropriate to the needs and interests of preschool children.
In addition, we also offer after school care and after school transportation.
