CELEBRATE EASTER

Every year, we walk with Jesus to the cross

by observing Holy Week.

These days help us remember the final days of Jesus' life,

from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday

to the day of his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Let's remember Jesus' life together!

Check out the details below:

PALM SUNDAY (APRIL 2)

Palm Sunday is a special day in our church calendar. On this day, we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and proclaim our hope for salvation. We will have contemporary worship at 9:30am in the fellowship hall, and we will have traditional worship at 10:45am in the sanctuary.

GOOD FRIDAY (APRIL 7)

On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ crucifixion and death. This year, FUMC Seffner will join us for a Good Friday Service at 7pm in the sanctuary. The word for this service is tenebrae, which means “darkness." In the service, you’ll hear hymns from our choirs and readings from our pastors, and you'll watch as the candles are blown out in remembrance of Jesus' death.

Before or after the service, join us in the fellowship hall for an interactive Stations of the Cross experience. In this self-guided prayer experience, you'll walk with Jesus through his final days, from his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane to his burial in the tomb. You're invited to take the journey at your own pace. The fellowship hall will be open from 5:30-6:50pm and again from the close of the service until 8:30pm.

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA (APRIL 8)

Join us on Saturday, April 8 from 10am to 12pm for a special Easter celebration for the whole family! We'll have free pizza, a HUGE EASTER EGG HUNT on the playground, lawn games, face painting, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. We can't wait to see you there!

EASTER SUNDAY (APRIL 9)

Christ is risen! Will you join us as we celebrate the good news of Jesus' resurrection? The celebrations begin at 7am with a casual Sunrise Service on the front lawn, featuring a mix of contemporary and traditional worship songs. Our contemporary (9:30) and traditional (10:45) worship services will be held at their normal times. We can't wait to see you there!
