Covid-19 Protocol for Live Worship

Safe, Happy and Together! This is the goal for Limona Village Chapel as we prepare to return to in person worship! The following is a protocol for our return to in person worship beginning on Sunday, September 20, 2020. This protocol has been carefully put together by your Covid19 Task force. The spirit in which this protocol was created was one of loving God while loving our neighbor. As United Methodists we value Wesley’s general rules for the church which are: Do No Harm, Do Good Always, and Stay in Love with God. As a team we value human life and we have put down our own personal preferences for the good of all people who may enter our worship space.

This protocol reflects phase 1.5 of returning to live worship. We have learned more about Covid-19 and this protocol reflects that new wisdom. Even so, we are uncertain of the future and the trajectory of Covid-19 we recognize that this is a starting place and based on future events these guidelines could become less or greater as time moves forward. Our goal is to provide a worship experience where no harm is done. It is our greatest prayer and hope that we will see less of a need to follow these strict guidelines in the future but find them necessary in our current situation. We ask that you carefully read each guideline and then prayerfully consider if you are able to submit to them before joining us for in person worship on September 20, 2020. The Covid-19 team will continue to revise these guidelines as needed on a monthly basis.
