Hurricane Irma Update

September 11, 2017

Dear LVC Family,

As Irma leaves the area the real work begins as everyone has damage to assess and clean up to tend to.  The Conner family is safe and sound and the parsonage is as well.  I have done a brief walk around the church campus and there is a lot of debris from the trees covering the campus. There is one tree on the play ground that is completely uprooted and took out a part of the fence and many other big limbs down.  There doesn't appear to be any structural damage to any of the buildings.  It could have been much worse!

With that said, I am more concerned about our church family.  Please let me know if there is anything that you need or if there is anything the church can do to help you.  If you are good I encourage you to check in with your neighbors and make sure they are okay and don't need anything.  There is no better time to be the church than now.  Praying all is well with you and your family and please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do.

Blessings,

Pastor Ricc
